About Jessica
Jessica Tara established her own law office in 2023 after seven years of legal practice in Victoria, most of it focused on estate planning and estate administration. She was called to the British Columbia bar in 2016, having received her Juris Doctor from Dalhousie University in 2015 and a Bachelor of Arts with Distinction from the University of Victoria in 2011. She advises clients on wills, powers of attorney and representation agreements, guides executors through probate and estate administration, and assists people handling estates where the deceased left no will. Since 2025 she has also helped train and supervise law students at The Law Centre, a legal aid service run through the University of Victoria's Faculty of Law.
