About Jeremy

Jeremy Scott is a Halifax-based tax lawyer who advises businesses on Canadian indirect taxes, including GST/HST, provincial sales tax and other commodity taxes. He previously worked as a partner at one of Canada's largest professional services firms and served as head of tax for one of Canada's largest grocery companies. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of New Brunswick, and completed the CFO Leadership Beyond Finance program through Queen's University and FEI Canada. Scott is a practising member of the Nova Scotia Barristers' Society and regularly presents, lectures and instructs on sales tax topics for professional organizations.
