About Jeremy

Jeremy Laxer joined Spunt & Carin in 2023 as a student at the Barreau du Québec and began his articling in August 2025, before being called to the Quebec Bar in 2026. Before pursuing law, he worked as a strategic planning advisor at Federation CJA, one of Quebec's leading philanthropies, where he negotiated funding agreements with social service agencies serving vulnerable Montrealers. He has volunteered extensively with LGBTQ community organizations, including several years on the board of the West Island LGBTQ2+ centre and as treasurer of Project 10, one of Montreal's largest LGBTQ youth resources.
