About Jennifer

Jennifer Shilson is a partner at Miller Canfield's Windsor office, practising corporate and commercial transactions. She represented long-term firm clients in the sale of a family business to a large international firm, a multi-faceted transaction that involved a pre-sale reorganization followed by the sale of assets in Canada, the United States, Barbados, and the United Kingdom. Working within a tight timeframe, she negotiated complex, multi-party, multi-jurisdiction purchase documents alongside teams in several jurisdictions and the purchaser's legal team, completing the transaction in about three weeks. She earned her LL.B. from the University of Windsor School of Law in 1998 and her B.A. from Wilfrid Laurier University.
