About Jeffrey

Jeffrey (Jeff) Burgess founded Burgess Law Professional Corporation and was called to the bar on June 11, 2008. His practice serves corporate and commercial work for small and medium-sized businesses, entrepreneurs, and start-ups, and he frequently acts as external general counsel, handling matters from startup through succession planning, including commercial insolvency and creditor representation. Before law he held a government and public policy background with the Government of Canada and the New Brunswick Legislature, and holds a Master of Arts in International Relations from the University of East Anglia in Norwich, England. He acts as legal counsel to the North Saskatoon Business Association, volunteers with the SK Startup Institute, and has board experience with Remai Modern. He is a member of the Law Society of Saskatchewan, the Canadian Bar Association, and the Canadian Tax Foundation.
