About Jeffrey

Jeffrey Brown is a partner at Theall Group LLP who handles the defence and trial of civil claims across areas such as product liability, commercial litigation, insurance law and the enforcement of secured transactions. He has appeared as counsel before the province's Superior Court of Justice, the Divisional Court and the Court of Appeal. Jeff was called to the Ontario Bar in 1999 after his articling term, which he completed as a law clerk with Justice Teitelbaum at the Federal Court of Canada. He earned his LL.B. from the University of Toronto in 1997, an M.A. in Economics also from the University of Toronto in 1994, and a B.A. in Economics from the University of Waterloo in 1993, where he made the Dean's List. Earlier in his career he served on the Canadian Bar Association's General Council, and he now belongs to the Advocates' Society, the Risk and Management Insurance Society, the Defence Research Institute and Canadian Defence Lawyers. He has co-authored a looseleaf text on product liability law and practice.
