About J.
Paul is a third-generation lawyer at Mills & Mills; he is the grandson of founding partner Alexander Mills, K.C., and the son of Ralph S. Mills, Q.C. His work centres on helping estate trustees administer estates, and he also takes on the role of estate trustee himself. After articling with the firm, Paul became a partner in 1973 and was appointed Queen's Counsel in 1982. He holds a Bachelor of Arts from Princeton University, earned in 1964, and a law degree from the University of Toronto from 1967, and was called to the bar in 1969.
