About Ishita

Ishita Chopra joined Devry Smith Frank LLP in 2025 as an associate in the wills and estates department. Her practice focuses on estate planning, estate administration, guardianship, and estate and capacity-related litigation, complemented by earlier experience in corporate and real estate law. Ishita earned an honours degree in psychology and an LLB from Panjab University, then completed the accreditation process through the National Committee on Accreditation before being called to the Ontario bar in 2023. Before joining the firm, she worked at a boutique estate planning and litigation practice, and she is currently pursuing the Trust and Estate Practitioner designation to deepen her expertise in the field. Ishita is fluent in English, Hindi, Punjabi, and Urdu, and her longtime involvement in theatre has sharpened the communication skills she brings to client work.
