Loui Dallas is the founder and principal of Dallas Criminal Defence. Before becoming a lawyer, he spent five years teaching at an inner-city Toronto high school, leaving that career to pursue what he calls representative justice. He graduated from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2006 and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2007, establishing his own firm the following year. His practice focuses on violent crime, weapons offences, and drug offences, and he has represented clients in trials at both the Ontario Court of Justice and the Superior Court of Justice. His case results include securing a manslaughter verdict rather than a first-degree murder conviction, and obtaining a not-criminally-responsible finding for a client charged with attempted murder.
