Henry Oltman

About Henry

Henry Oltman is a lawyer at The Barrister Group with experience in personal injury, civil litigation, family law, and commercial law, including credit and debt matters. He graduated from law school in South Africa in 1995 and, after completing his articles, worked for five years at South Africa's Road Accident Fund, a government auto insurance body similar to SGI. Henry operated his own law firm in South Africa from 2003 to 2018 before emigrating to Canada. He has also been involved in chess administration, having served as President of Gauteng Chess and on the Grievance and Ethics Committee of Chess South Africa.
