About Harkirat

Harkirat Singh Kang is the principal lawyer and founder of Truman Law. He was called to the Bar Council of Delhi in 2013, the Bar of Ontario in 2016, and the Law Society of British Columbia in 2017. His practice focuses on real estate, litigation, and business matters. Before founding Truman Law in 2020, Harkirat practiced with boutique litigation firms in British Columbia, gaining experience in civil litigation, including real estate and corporate disputes, contractual matters, construction-related claims, and foreclosure proceedings, and has appeared before the Provincial Court and the Supreme Court of British Columbia. Since expanding the firm's real estate services in 2021, he has applied his litigation background to help clients through complex transactions involving foreclosures, encumbered titles, private lending, and corporate ownership structures. Harkirat is fluent in English, Punjabi, and Hindi, and also speaks Marwari, reflecting his roots in Rajasthan, India.
