About Guillaume
Guillaume Fogarty-Greenshaw, originally from Edmonton, Alberta, worked in the construction trades before earning his Bachelor of Arts in 2016 and his Juris Doctor from the University of Alberta in 2021. He articled with Legal Aid Alberta and was called to the bars of both Alberta and British Columbia in 2022, relocating to Victoria that September and joining Brooke A. MacLeod Law in July 2023. During law school he served as Family Law Project Coordinator at Student Legal Services of Edmonton, supervising more than 100 student volunteers and conducting a multi-day family law trial. Since his call to the bar, he has handled parenting, financial support, property division, family violence, and child protection matters, appearing regularly in the Supreme and Provincial Courts, and prefers pursuing out-of-court resolutions where possible.
