About Graeme

Graeme Oddy is a partner at Devry Smith Frank LLP, working in the firm's commercial litigation and tax law group. He holds a B.A. (Hons.) and a J.D. from the University of Toronto, was called to the bar in 2018, and joined the firm in 2022 after articling at a boutique multi-national firm and then practising on his own, offering litigation, corporate and commercial, tax planning, and real estate services. His commercial litigation work has included commercial arbitrations, injunctions, appeals, and claims against directors and officers, along with fraudulent conveyances, mortgage enforcement, professional negligence and disciplinary matters, contract disputes, and shareholder or partnership disagreements. On the tax side, he handles disputes tied to capital gains on real property and virtual currency transactions, including preparing for CRA audits and pursuing objections to reassessments and administrative appeals. Outside the office, he plays basketball and tennis and enjoys skiing and hiking, and he founded the University of Toronto's Rubik's Cube club in 2013.
