About Geord

Geord Holland has practiced law in Kelowna, BC for more than 40 years, focusing on real estate, business law, and land development, particularly for resort properties. He also maintains a niche practice in adoption law. He grew up in Kelowna and earned his Bachelor of Commerce and law degrees at the University of British Columbia. For more than 30 years he was a partner at two well-known Kelowna law firms before establishing his own sole practice, which he says gives him more flexibility in meeting clients' schedules and needs. He and his spouse raised four children, all adopted, and he has volunteered as an advocate for adoption and fostering issues across British Columbia throughout his career. He regularly works with local Chartered Professional Accountants to coordinate his clients' business needs.
