Gary Pickard was born and raised in Barrie. He graduated from the University of Western Ontario Law School in 1985 and was called to the Ontario Bar in 1987. He has been a member of the Ontario Criminal Lawyers Association since 1989 and is the current president of the Criminal Lawyers' Association of the County of Simcoe.
