About Garnet

Garnet Brooks is the managing lawyer at Brooks Business Law, which he established in Bedford, Nova Scotia in 2024. He began his legal career in 2011, building experience in corporate, commercial, Indigenous and real estate law at a full-service Atlantic Canadian firm, and by 2016 had expanded his practice to advising startups, investors and Indigenous communities on major development and partnership projects. His practice today covers business incorporations, commercial real estate and leasing, contract and transaction work, and Indigenous economic development.
