About Fiona
Fiona Brown spent 16 years working on Bay Street, where she became the insurance group's first female partner and later its first female Chair, before joining SBA and carrying those same values with her. She has remained motivated throughout her career by her clients and by the bonds she forms with them, enjoying the social side of the job with both clients and fellow lawyers. She is known to be firm yet fair, and her clients value her genuine, approachable style along with her proactive attitude and frequent reporting. She is mindful of her clients' time and how valuable it is to them. Her practice centers on defending against occupiers' liability claims, often on behalf of large national clients, and outside of work she plays tennis and has taken part in a rec-league broomball match.
