About Ferne

Ferne Ashford has practiced law for more than 27 years, focusing on family law, real estate, and wills and estates. She began her career as a legal researcher before founding her own practice, and has appeared before the Court of King's Bench and the Court of Appeal. In November 2021 she was designated King's Counsel in recognition of her practice, integrity, and leadership. She is a member of the Law Society of New Brunswick, the Canadian Bar Association, the New Brunswick Insurance Board, and the Law Society's Lawyer Assistance Program Committee.
