About Erin

Erin Pleet is a partner at Ross Nasseri LLP who frequently appears as lead counsel across all levels of court in Ontario, with a practice spanning commercial litigation, injunctions, defamation, fraud, securities litigation, appeals, and estates disputes. She has represented businesses and individuals in corporate disputes, including oppression claims and claims against directors and officers, and has successfully defended defamation claims that resulted in full indemnity costs for her clients. Erin is a graduate of Queen's University's Faculty of Law, where her achievements included the Bronze Scholar distinction and the Dean's Key, and she went on to clerk for the judges at the Divisional Court in Toronto. She previously chaired the Young Advocates' Standing Committee of The Advocates' Society, helped set up a Pro Bono Ontario program to assist self-represented litigants with appeals, and served as a roster lawyer with the Litigation Assistance Program at the Ontario Securities Commission. She was called to the Ontario bar in 2011.
