About Emmet
Emmet advises individuals, businesses, charities, and public institutions, with a practice centred on corporate and commercial law, including purchases and sales, reorganizations, and ongoing operations. He also handles real estate, finance, employment, and not-for-profit matters, and works as a registered trademark agent on intellectual property files. He earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Toronto in 2002 and a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) from Queen's University, and was called to the Ontario bar in 2003. Emmet was an associate at Cassels Brock & Blackwell before joining LLF as an associate in 2006 and becoming a partner in 2012. He's a past president and board member of the Community Counselling & Resource Centre and has coached with the Peterborough Youth Basketball Association.
