About Emma

Emma Andrews, J.D., is a Vancouver immigration lawyer and notary public who is fluent in English and Spanish. She earned her law degree at the University of Victoria and was called to the Bar of British Columbia in 2000, and also studied civil law at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de Honduras, giving her familiarity with both civil and common law systems. She has represented clients in BC Provincial Court, BC Supreme Court, and Federal Court, and appears regularly before the Immigration and Refugee Board, including successful appeals at the Federal Court of Canada. Emma is a member of the Canadian Bar Association and the Law Society of BC, and has been involved in community legal education through MOSAIC's legal clinic, Vancouver Community College, the University of Victoria, Capilano University, and CITR Radio.
