About Douglas

Douglas Zorrilla is a real estate and immigration lawyer and a Partner of the firm. His practice focuses on commercial and residential real estate law, general corporate and commercial matters, and immigration. He advises on acquisition, development, subdivision, financing, construction, and sale of development properties, as well as leasing of commercial, industrial, and residential properties, and assists businesses from incorporation through the purchase and sale of a business. On immigration matters, he assists with permanent residence applications, labour market impact assessments, work permits, intra-company transfers, business visitor applications, study permits, provincial nominee applications, sponsorship, and citizenship applications. He was called to the bar in Peru in 2007 and practised law in Lima until 2010, before later being called to the British Columbia bar. He holds an LLB from Inca Garcilaso de la Vega University, a Post Graduate Diploma in Real Property Registry Law from the University of San Martin de Porres, an Immigration Law Diploma from Ashton College, and completed a graduate-level program for foreign lawyers at the University of British Columbia.
