About Douglas
Douglas S. Martinson is an in-house consultant at MHR Law LLP and one of its founding partners, having helped establish Martinson & Harder (now MHR Law LLP) in Olds in 1995. He earned his Bachelor of Laws from the University of Alberta in 1974 and was admitted to the Law Society of Alberta in 1975, beginning his career in Edmonton before moving to Olds in 1981. Since January 2023 he's been a non-practicing lawyer, though he continues to support the firm's associates and in-house staff, and his background is in estates, corporate and business consulting, estate and succession planning, and commercial real estate and financing. Doug has long been active in the Olds community, supporting minor hockey, soccer and baseball, the local food bank, and serving on the Olds College Board of Governors.
