About Dorota
Dorota Smolarkiewicz founded DKS Law Professional Corporation, where she has practiced for more than 15 years with a focus on real estate law. She works with a range of private and commercial clients as well as realtors in the Newmarket, Markham and Aurora area. She began her career at McMillan Law while still in school, then worked at Dale & Lessmann, followed by Garfinkle Biderman, then Korman & Company, and finally Fluxgold Izsak Jaeger before founding her own practice. Dorota studied psychology at Dalhousie University, earning a B.A. with honours, before completing her LL.B. with honours at Western University. She was called to the Ontario bar in 2002, and her practice today covers real estate law, wills and estates, and notary services.
