About Donald

Donald Harding grew up in Lunenburg, Nova Scotia and travelled and worked abroad in his youth before earning a BA at Acadia University and a law degree at Dalhousie University. He was admitted to the bar in British Columbia and then Nova Scotia, practising first in Shelburne with his father and later co-founding the regional firm Pink MacDonald Harding, which operated for 15 years. He continued a busy Shelburne County practice on his own until forming Harding Law in 2022. His practice covers property, corporate and commercial matters, fisheries and marine law, and wills and probate. He has served on numerous boards and commissions, including as chair of the Nova Scotia Legal Aid Commission and president of the Nova Scotia and Canadian Lung Associations, and continues to sit on the Nova Scotia Assessment Appeal Tribunal.
