About Dominic

Dominic Lamb was called to the Ontario bar in 2001 and is a Certified Specialist in Criminal Law. He worked as a sole practitioner focused exclusively on criminal defence before joining Michael Edelson's office in 2009, and in 2019 he co-founded Lamb & O'Brien, a boutique firm specializing in criminal and regulatory law. His practice covers the full range of criminal matters, from mischief to murder, along with an active regulatory law practice, and he has appeared at every level of court in Ontario, the Federal Court of Canada, public inquiries, coroner's inquests, and administrative tribunals. Dominic is a past president of the Defence Counsel Association of Ottawa and has lectured on criminal law for universities, foreign jurists, and policing organizations. In 2016, the Attorney General for Ontario appointed him to the Ottawa Carleton Detention Centre Task Force.
