Denis Paradis joined Dunton Rainville in 2006 as counsel, where Paradis practises primarily in administrative, corporate, and tax law. Paradis was called to the Barreau du Québec in 1976 and then practised for nearly twenty years at Paradis et Associés, a firm Paradis founded, while also teaching agricultural law at the Barreau du Québec. Paradis was elected vice-president of the Barreau du Québec in 1992 and served as Bâtonnier in 1993 and 1994. Paradis later served as Member of Parliament for Brome-Missisquoi and held three ministerial portfolios between 2002 and 2004, covering Latin America and Africa, La Francophonie, and Financial Institutions.
