About Dejan

Dejan Ristic was called to the bar in Bosnia and Herzegovina and practised there until 1994, then worked as a licensed paralegal in Ontario from 2008 to 2020 before being called to the Ontario bar in 2020. He holds an LL.M. from Osgoode Hall Law School, completed in 2019, with his earlier legal training accredited by the National Committee on Accreditation. He joined Devry Smith Frank LLP in 1997 and has since helped the firm's lawyers and clients through civil litigation at trials, appeals and before tribunals including the Financial Services Commission of Ontario, the Licence Appeal Tribunal and the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board. His work centres on personal injury litigation and disability claims, and he draws on more than 25 years of combined litigation experience across two legal systems. He is fluent in several languages of the former Yugoslavia and can serve clients in their own language.
