About David
David Tarnow has practiced criminal law in Vancouver for over 30 years. He received his BA from the University of British Columbia in 1973 and his LLB from Dalhousie University in Halifax in 1976, and was called to the Bar of British Columbia in 1977. He spent his first four years as a federal prosecutor before spending the last three decades defending the rights of accused people at all levels of court in British Columbia. He has also been a member of the Yukon Bar since 2013, taking on cases in Whitehorse, Dawson City, Burwash Landing, and Pelly Crossing.
