About David

Petranic practices exclusively in criminal and penal law, focusing mainly on crimes against the person, economic crimes and jury trials, and has handled numerous complex, high-profile cases before all levels of Quebec courts, including homicide, murder, kidnapping and arson charges, cases involving contraband tobacco, drug trafficking investigations, and impaired driving. He serves as a board advisor to the Association des Avocats de la Defense de Montreal, belongs to the Association Quebecoise des Avocats et Avocates de la Defense, and co-founded the Foot-In children's sports foundation. In 2018 he received the AQAAD's Michel-Proulx award recognizing excellence in a young lawyer's practice.
