About David

David Doig has handled some of British Columbia's largest and most complex personal injury claims over more than 25 years, focusing primarily on catastrophic brain and spinal cord injuries. He has been lead counsel in cases involving multi-vehicle collisions, defective goods, faulty workmanship, construction and building maintenance issues, professional and medical malpractice, and highway design and construction, and has represented clients at the Supreme Court and Court of Appeal levels as well as in mediations and arbitrations. He is frequently consulted by the medical and rehabilitation community and by other lawyers on these types of claims, and has served on hospital foundation boards including BC Children's Hospital Foundation, Sunny Hill Health Centre Foundation, and BC Rehab Foundation. He graduated from the University of British Columbia in 1982 and from the University of Manitoba's law school in 1985, and was called to the bar in British Columbia in 1986.
