About David

David A. Elliot is a partner practising in land development, real estate and business law. He earned his BA from McMaster University in 1982 and his LLB from Osgoode Hall Law School in 1985, articled with the firm, was called to the Ontario bar in 1987, and became a partner in 1992. In March 2023 he received the Hamilton Law Association's Distinguished Solicitor Award, and he served on the Ontario Bar Association's board of directors from 2012 to 2014. David is a past president of the Hamilton Law Association, having led it from 2009 to 2010 after serving as vice-president and treasurer, and he continues to sit on its Real Estate Committee. He is also active in the Hamilton community, currently serving as president of the Rotary Club of Hamilton and having previously chaired the Royal Hamilton Yacht Club's board.
