About Darren

Darren Freeston practises exclusively in divorce and family law in Calgary, handling matters including separation, custody and access, guardianship and parenting, child support, spousal support, and division of property. Born and raised on the Isle of Wight, England, he began his law studies in 1997 while working full time in a law office, and became a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives in 2001. He completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice and was admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales in 2004, working for several firms including Eversheds, then the fourth largest law firm in the world. Darren moved to Calgary with his family in January 2007 and was called to the Alberta bar in July 2009.
