About Dan

Dan MacIsaac was born and raised on Vancouver Island and is a third-generation lawyer who has practised law since 1990, appearing as lead counsel at all levels of court in British Columbia, from the Provincial Court to the Court of Appeal. His primary practice areas are civil litigation, personal injury, land litigation, trespass, and contested wills and estates matters, and he is the managing partner of MacIsaac and MacIsaac, in the Westshore area of Victoria. He is a long-standing member of the B.C. Trial Lawyers Association, the B.C. Law Society, the Victoria Bar Association, and the Canadian Bar Association, and was a founding director of the Metchosin Foundation. Before entering the legal profession, he taught English Literature at the University of Alberta and Camosun College.
