Dan Block is a partner in Goodmans' Litigation and Dispute Resolution Group, focusing on corporate and commercial litigation and arbitration. He has significant experience in the energy and infrastructure sectors, as well as in shareholder disputes, securities litigation, professional liability claims, contract disputes, real estate matters, oppression remedy cases, and class actions. His energy and infrastructure clients range from project developers and contractors to insurers and government agencies, and he has also represented law firms, lawyers, and corporate officers and directors. Dan has served as counsel in trials, arbitrations, and appeals before Ontario and federal courts, and has helped clients reach settlements through mediation and negotiation.
