About Dale

Dale Henley grew up on the Saanich Peninsula and earned a Bachelor of Arts in political science from the University of Victoria before completing a Bachelor of Laws at the University of British Columbia. He returned to Vancouver Island to practise in Victoria before opening his own firm in Sidney; Michael Walden joined him in 1980 to form Henley & Walden LLP, and in 2018 Chris Straub became his partner, renaming the firm Henley & Straub LLP. His practice centres on wills, trusts, succession planning, and estate administration, with an ongoing interest in commercial and residential real estate and business law. Dale has chaired the University of Victoria Alumni Association, served as a past president of the Saanich Peninsula Hospital Foundation, and co-chairs the Saanich Peninsula Primary Health Care Society.
