D. Sid Freeman graduated from Osgoode Hall Law School in 1993 and was called to the bar in Ontario in 1994 and in Nova Scotia in 1996. She has practised criminal law exclusively since being called, appearing at all levels of court in Ontario and before bodies including the Parole Board of Canada and the Ontario Review Board, and has served on the boards of PASAN and the West Toronto Community Legal Clinic.
