About Crystal

Crystal Hayden completed her articles at a boutique family law firm after earning her Juris Doctor from the University of Alberta in 2024, having tailored her law school studies toward family law with courses in Advanced Family Law, Family Law Practice Issues, Negotiation Techniques, and Mediation Advocacy. She volunteered with Student Legal Services' Civil and Family Law Project, later becoming a Day Leader and managing her own family law files under supervision, including docket court appearances in the Alberta Court of Justice. Crystal takes time to understand each client's circumstances and goals, favouring negotiated resolutions where possible while remaining prepared to advocate strongly through litigation when needed. She was called to the Law Society of Alberta as a practising lawyer in 2025. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design from Concordia University in 2017 before pursuing law.
