About Cory

Cory Towriss was born and raised in Princeton, BC and has lived on Vancouver Island for over 30 years, settling in Duncan in 2008. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies from Vancouver Island University in 2003 and a law degree from the University of Victoria in 2008, and he was called to the bar in June 2009. He was a summer student at Orchard & Company in 2007, articled there in 2008/09, and continued practicing at the firm until it closed in December 2017, then founded Cory Towriss Law Corporation in January 2018. His practice covers wills and estate planning, powers of attorney, and estate administration and probate, and he also serves clients as a notary public. He brings a background in small business ownership and management to his legal work.
