Cory Towriss Law Corporation is a solo law and notary practice in Duncan, BC, serving Duncan and the wider Cowichan Valley. Cory Towriss earned a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies from Vancouver Island University in 2003 and a law degree from the University of Victoria in 2008, then articled at Duncan's Orchard & Company and was called to the bar in June 2009. Towriss practiced at Orchard & Company for the better part of a decade, until founder Don Orchard closed the firm at the end of 2017 after 55 years in practice. Cory Towriss Law Corporation opened the following month, in January 2018, continuing a legal practice in the same community.

The firm focuses on wills and estate planning, powers of attorney, representation agreements, and estate administration and probate, together with notary public services. Practicing as both a lawyer and a notary means a document can be drafted, signed, and certified without a client having to find a separate notary.
