About Conan
Conan Taylor is the founding and managing partner of Taylor Janis Workplace Law, an employment law firm with offices across Alberta and British Columbia. His legal career spans nearly three decades, including more than $500 million in resolved contested claims, though he has shifted his current focus from active practice to strategic leadership and firm growth. Before law, Conan served nine years as an officer with the Canadian Armed Forces, flying Chinook helicopters as a NATO Exchange Officer with the Royal Air Force and retiring at the rank of Captain in 1989. He holds a BA (Honours) in Philosophy from the University of Alberta and an LLB/JD from Queen's University. Conan has maintained a corporate and commercial litigation practice and has held board positions in industries including mining, pharmacy, construction, land development, and technology.
