About Colleen

Colleen Milne devotes much of her practice to helping Indigenous governments, communities, and their members establish commercial business structures, such as joint ventures and partnerships, that support economic development. Colleen is registered with the Mohawks of Kahnawá:ke as a First Nations woman, and she has family ties to the Chippewas of Nawash Unceded First Nation. Before joining Foglers, Colleen held the role of Corporate and Commercial Legal Counsel with the Canada Infrastructure Bank, where she worked alongside its Indigenous Community Infrastructure Team. She began her career as a corporate lawyer at a global law firm. Colleen holds a JD from Osgoode Hall Law School and completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Guelph.
