About Clare

Clare Marshall owns and leads Wilson Marshall, a firm built around intergenerational practice areas such as wealth preservation, passing wealth between generations, and advocacy for elderly and health care clients. Her client base spans families, business owners, and medical professionals, and her work touches on probate and estate administration, business succession planning, and corporate restructuring. She has completed Mayo Clinic coursework covering Mild Cognitive Impairment, Dementia, Alzheimer's Disease, and care for patients in late-stage dementia. Marshall obtained a BA with Distinction in Psychology from the University of Victoria in 1998, followed by an LLB from the same university's Faculty of Law in 2003, and gained admission to the British Columbia Bar in 2004. Her early career included a research assistantship with the British Columbia Ministry of Attorney General and a judicial clerkship at the United States District Court for the Western District of New York. Beyond her Law Society membership, she takes an active role in several CBA British Columbia sections covering Business Law, Elder Law, Wills and Trusts, and Health Law.
