Employment & Labour LawChristopher Robertson was called to the bar in 2003 and focuses on employment-related litigation and commercial disputes. Robertson has appeared at the Ontario Superior Court of Justice's Commercial List and the Ontario Court of Appeal, as well as before boards and tribunals including the Ontario Labour Relations Board, the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario, and the Licence Appeals Tribunal. Robertson articled with and practised at a national firm for five years representing corporate clients, providing insight into employer motivation when representing executive and management employees on departure. Before law, Robertson served as a senior officer with the Canadian infantry, including a United Nations peacekeeping tour in the former Yugoslavia and domestic emergency relief operations. Robertson holds an LL.B. from Queen's University (2002) and a B.A. from the University of Toronto.
