Chris Armstrong is a partner in Goodmans' Restructuring Group, specializing in financial restructurings, work-outs and distressed M&A and refinancing. He has played a leading role in a number of significant Canadian and cross-border restructurings, acting for companies, lenders, court officers, ad hoc committees and purchasers. His experience spans sectors including technology, retail, real estate, natural resources, entertainment, cannabis, construction, automotive, railways and pharmaceuticals. Chris has been consistently recognized for his work in financial restructuring and insolvency by several major legal directories, and in 2017 was named one of Lexpert's Rising Stars under 40. He is a member of the Insolvency Institute of Canada.
