About Charlene

Charlene Cleary is the principal lawyer at Westshore Law in Victoria, BC. She was called to the bar in Manitoba in 2009 and in British Columbia in 2010, after earning a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Manitoba in 2008 and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Guelph in 2002. Her practice spans mediation, employment law and workplace investigations, administrative and governance law, estate law, and business law for small and medium-sized organizations. Cleary draws on earlier experience owning a business to give practical, plain-language advice, and she represents clients in court and tribunal proceedings while also working as a mediator to help preserve relationships. She serves as vice chair of the VisionQuest Recovery Society board and has provided pro bono counsel to the Goldstream Foodbank since 2018.
