About Catherine

Catherine Valotaire has extensive experience in corporate law, contract law, and mergers and acquisitions, along with more recent experience in pre-transactional work such as negotiating confidentiality agreements across multiple jurisdictions. Before joining Delegatus, Valotaire was corporate counsel at National Bank of Canada, managing securities-related obligations and working on the revision and implementation of internal policies. Valotaire also served as assistant corporate secretary for several subsidiaries, preparing board meetings and minutes and maintaining corporate records in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Earlier in Valotaire's career, Valotaire practised at Bélanger Sauvé and at Cayer Ouellette, primarily in corporate law and litigation. Valotaire holds an LL.B. from Université de Montréal, obtained in 2005.
