About Catherine

Catherine P. Watson attended the University of Windsor Law School as a mature student, graduating with her LL.B. in 2002 and being called to the Bar the same year. She practiced as an associate lawyer in Owen Sound for four years before opening her own practice in Markdale in April 2006, later welcoming Paul Phillips as a partner in February 2018. Catherine's practice focuses primarily on family law, with a strong wills and estates and civil litigation client base. She has an extensive background in agriculture and has represented many clients who operate large farming operations, including beef, dairy, and cash crop farms. Catherine grew up on the Watson Homestead near the village of Priceville and still has deep roots in the community.
