Carter Martell obtained his law degree from the University of Toronto Faculty of Law and articled at the Crown Law Office, Criminal, working primarily on criminal appeals. He has practised at Martell Defence since 2015 and appears regularly in the Superior Court of Justice and the Ontario Court of Appeal, and has acted as intervening counsel at the Supreme Court of Canada.
