About Carrie
Carrie A. McArthur Low has practised law for nearly 25 years, focusing on real estate law and estate planning. She earned an Honours BA in Sociology and International Development from the University of Guelph in 1994 and an LLB from Queen's University's law school in 1997, and was called to the Ontario Bar in 1999. She began her career as an associate at Blake, Cassels & Graydon in Toronto, then spent 17 years in the in-house law department at Royal Bank, practising in consumer contracts, marketing and advertising under the Competition Act, corporate sponsorship, and credit and banking compliance. Low relocated to Cobourg with her family in 2007 and joined Richard Irvine's real estate practice in 2017, forming Irvine & Low; she continues that practice today as The House Lawyer. She serves as Vice-Chair of the Board of Directors of the Northumberland Hills Hospital Foundation.
